“Obtaining the FAA approval for our Bell 206L system has been a priority for Boost Systems for some time. We have consistently received inquiries as to the timeline for several Bell Helicopter model approvals including 206L, 212 and 412” says Jeff Yarnold, Vice President of Operations for Boost Systems. “With the introduction of an FAA-approved HEC system and PCDS for the 206L, we continue to fulfil our commitment to US-based operators to bring products that are fully-compliant to the latest FAR 27.865 and FAA AC133-1B HEC standards; products that enhance safety and versatility to help ensure they are able to perform their operations to the highest possible standards of safety and efficiency.
Yarnold further expands on this commitment to Bell Helicopter operators, indicating that due to high levels of demand from US operators; which was particularly strong during the recent Heli-Expo exhibition and tradeshow – FAA approvals for both the Bell 212 and 412 are in process and anticipated to be available to operators in Q2/Q3 of 2020.
