BOOST Systems announces FAA approval for insulated suspension lines and flash rate harnesses.

North Vancouver, BC – October 26, 2022 – Boost Systems, the global leader in fully certified Human External Cargo Systems, Personnel Carrying Device Systems (PCDS), and related Training Services is pleased to announce their Insulated Suspension Lines and flash rated harnesses are now FAA Approved when used with other manufacturers’ Bell 206L/407 and MD369 dual hook systems.

Utility HEC operators are now able to meet Federal aviation requirements when using the Bell 206L/407 and MD369 Dual Hook System supplied by manufacturers other than BOOST, by adding the FAA approved BOOST Systems’ PCDS, including Insulated Suspension Lines and flash rated harnesses.

Jeff Yarnold, vice president of operations explains, “Utility operators using the Onboard HEC hook system were unable to perform energized work with a fully approved PCDS until now. Our approved insulated suspension lines and flash rated harnesses make it possible for all HEC utility operators using the Onboard System 206L/407 and MD369 dual hook to meet FAA requirements.”

Boost Systems offers a complete line of TCCA, FAA, CAAC, ANAC, and EASA certified HEC systems for a wide range of helicopter models and fully compliant accessories, including HEC dual hook systems, approved PCDS, and Boost Systems’ Generation II HEC Suspension Lines, which are the most advanced suspension lines available today. Boost Systems also provides world-class training for HEC operations.
